The whole body
The sessions, which are one-and-a-half-hours long, in contrast with the one-hour sessions at most London studios, gives us time to work thoroughly and carefully through your entire body. We work with you in detail to increase your understanding of how you can work on your body, and to enable you to explore what we call the “internal-mechanism” of Pilates exercises.
The secret ingredient
The “internal-mechanism” is unlocked through the journey that you will take with your teacher to discover how to improve the functionality of your body. This is the key – whatever your goal – whatever your age – to unlocking your true movement potential and to restoring your body to its own natural balance, strength and flexibility. Then you will have a healthy, well balanced body and a happy mind.
Real lasting power
The “internal-mechanism” has been developed over the past 35 years and, year-by-year, evolves new movements, new techniques, and new ways of thinking about health and fitness to provide new and innovative ways of helping our clients get the very best from their time with us. This is what makes Trevor Blount Pilates special and gives it real and lasting power.
Based in fashionable South Kensington, the studio has been at the forefront of developing modern Pilates for more than 35 years. It has earned a reputation for excellence and is one of London’s most highly regarded studios. What makes Trevor and his team exceptional and different from other Pilates teachers is their complete understanding of how to use Pilates in a way that is sympathetic to each individual’s anatomical structure.
