At Trevor Blount Pilates, we return to the source.

The original Pilates method was never designed as a conventional workout. It was created as a precise system of education for the body — one that begins with assessment, works with your unique anatomical structure, and progresses at a pace that respects your body’s natural rhythm.

We don’t follow one-size-fits-all routines. We don’t play music, because your body has its own rhythm and we want you listening to it. Every session is shaped around your structure, your history, and how your body actually functions.

Beyond the Standard Reformer

Most boutique studios in Chelsea rely on a single reformer machine. At Trevor Blount Pilates, we work with the full suite of classical Pilates apparatus — the same equipment Joseph Pilates developed over a lifetime of study.

This allows us to decompress joints, restore natural movement patterns, and challenge stability in ways a standard reformer cannot. Resistance is precisely calibrated to your bone density, strength, and muscle tone — not a generic setting for a class of twelve.
